• Store supplements in a cool, dark place. Don’t store them in humid environments such as the bathroom or refrigerator.

• Take fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K) with food containing some oil or fat.

• Take no more than 500 mg of calcium at one time to maximize absorption.

• Combine magnesium and calcium in a ratio of 1:2 or 1:3.

• Divide mega-doses of vitamin C into smaller doses throughout the day
