Exercise definitely plays a major role in disease prevention and age management, but let's not forget the important role nutrition plays as well. One of the greatest, if not the greatest, challenges I see every day in my practice and in my own personal life is poor food choices resulting in obesity. So many people eat themselves right into an early death.
Countless numbers of people develop diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, joint disease, and cancer as a direct result of their poor nutritional habits. These are diseases that are not only devastating because they cause premature death but also because they produce pain, suffering, and disability for both the individual and their families.
Disease prevention through nutrition is rapidly becoming a top medical priority in this country. Just think of it-by incorporating a structured nutritional plan into your active lifestyle, you can have a profoundly positive impact on your health, well-being and longevity. It's really all up to you!
