GE Lunar DEXA Prodigy

DEXA stands for "dual energy x-ray absorptiometry." The scan is a very mild exposure x-ray scan that is used to assess bone density and body composition. Because of the (purposefully) low radiation exposure of the DEXA, the resolution of the scan is not finite enough to accurately detect/diagnose diseases or anatomical abnormalities, such as tumors or lumps.
