One Rep Max Calculator

A one rep max is the maximum weight you can lift for any given exercise one time only. It can be dangerous to perform a true one rep max therefore utilizing this calculator you can safely determine your one rep max. There are many benefits of determining your one rep max. The reason it is mostly used is to elicit a predetermined, goal oriented effect for a resistance training program.

For example:
Muscle Growth: Requires a trainee to train for 8-12 reps at 70%-85% of their one rep max
Power output: Requires a trainee to train for 1-5 reps at 85%-100% of their one rep max.
