FAQs

Does Dr. LIFE really look like that?

Yes, he does. No photos are digitally enhanced. Dr. LIFE is committed to his healthy aging regimen and has become an inspiration for hundreds of people worldwide.

Are there any differences between the age management medicine program at the LIFE Center for Healthy Aging and the Cenegenics program?

No. Dr. LIFE continues to offer the same program and strategies, shown successful by Cenegenics since its 1997 inception. As a Cenegenics physician affiliate, Dr. LIFE maintains his association with the leading authority in the field of age management medicine, Cenegenics.

Why don't you use the term "anti-aging"?

The recognized field of age management medicine uses well-known and accepted markers of disease-risk in proactive patient management, making it possible to prevent premature disability and premature death. Unlike the anti-aging movement, our age management medicine practice . . .

  • does not believe aging is a disease
  • does not claim we can affect aging at the cellular level or increase longevity
  • only prescribes hGH if a comprehensive evaluation reveals an adult growth hormone deficiency-only when nutrition/exercise therapy has not shown to restore gh levels
  • does not prescribe hGH "off label" nor prescribe oral, nasal or transdermal "so-called" hGH products, hGH stimulators or precursors

What about hormones?

In addition to low-glycemic/low-fat nutrition, quality nutraceuticals and action-packed exercise, customized programs may include hormone normalization for clinically proven deficiencies, demonstrated by comprehensive evaluation. The endocrine system-made up of hormone-secreting glands-regulates the body's internal environment and maintains system integration. Regaining and maintaining metabolic and endocrine functions results in healthier aging and a vigorous life.

The government has drawn a clear line regarding steroid and hGH prescription and use, whether online or direct purchase. Operating outside the law is fraud-plain and simple. The LIFE Center for Healthy Aging takes the high road, delivering medical excellence with the confines of the law. Only a minority of patients-those with a proven adult growth hormone deficiency-are given hGH hormonal therapy balanced with other hormones.

How young-and how old-can you be to start the program?

It's never too late to start a healthy aging program. Patients from 35 or older are the best candidates for age management medicine, yet younger individuals can always begin a nutritional/exercise regimen to promote better health as they age.
